You are looking at a 1974 Cutlass Salon Supreme Hardtop Coupe. This

car was bought with a sibling car to it of the same year and model.

The prior owner was an enthusiast and a garage mechanic and

bodyman. The car runs and drives nicely and is complete. We have a

pile of receipts totaling thousands of dollars that go with the

car. It has full receipts for parts for a full engine overhaul in

roughly 2019. Mechanically the car runs and drives really well and

is a great driver Cutlass.

ANALYSIS OF THIS 74 CUTLASS SUPREME!

There is some body work on the car that is mediocre at best and is

evident that it was not painted professionally. The paint is dry

throughout and doesent have the glossy clear shine on it that we

hope it would. The car is complete and appears fully intact. It

offers a lot of upside in terms of repainting and body work

touching up, or its a perfect driver as it sits. The top should be

vinyl as far as we can tell and it is currently just a painted

roof. It actually looks kinda sharp. The car has a proper set of

Rally Wheels on it.

The interior is mix matched at the moment with nice seat coverings

but in a clashing color compared to the rest of the interior. The

carpets looks new and the dash and gauges show nicely. The

headliner and visors are in pretty good shape as you can see.

The car drives nice and straight and shines the brightest in the

mechanical department. The prior owner cared for his cars and took

good care of them and this is no exception. We note a newer fuel

cell and some newer suspension parts throughout. We know that the

engine was rebuilt in about 2019 and new tires were installed in

2021. The power steering works great and the car runs out nicely

and stops straight and confidently. The newly rebuilt TH350 shifts

like a new transmission should. We note some usual drips and oil

residue underneath and it would appear that a brake line might have

a small leak as well, despite have a nice solid pedal

underfoot.

The trunk has some metal repair that we can see, as well as around

the rear wheel openings. The body work is mediocre at best. We also

note some repair areas underneath the car which is detailed in our

pics. The frame appears nice and solid as expected.

This is a great opportunity to get your hands on a 1974 Cutlass

Supreme Coupe for cheap and will give a tinkerer or enthusiast

plenty of upside to add value to the car over the next

ownership.
